Partner & Community Events
Our partners and other organizations in Metro Denver and across Colorado sponsor events to increase understanding and provide support for efforts to address homelessness. To learn more, click on any month, review the events listed and consider how you might help. Use the form below to list your events on our calendar.
6/4 – Home Run for the Homeless – The Colorado Rockies welcome you to attend or volunteer at their annual running event. For those up to the challenge, you can register for the Rockies 5k Run, 5k Walk, or for children, the Kids Fun Run. 6/27 – Aurora Homeless Connect (AHC) – Volunteers are needed for the first ever Aurora Homeless Connect — a one day event that provides individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at-risk of becoming homeless with access to vital services. The event will take place at the Aurora Day Resource Center (13387 E 19th Place, Aurora) and volunteer shifts will take place between 8 a.m – 6 p.m. For more information on how to sign up and volunteer, you can view the poster, here.
6/27 – Jefferson County Commissioners Hearing – A hearing will take place at 8:00 am by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners to decide whether to continue to accept federal funds – taxes we have already paid – to support affordable housing, down payment assistance for 1st time homebuyers, social services, health services, and economic development activities. 6/29 – Community Meeting – The City and County of Denver is developing a comprehensive housing plan to align city investments to help residents facing a range of housing challenges, from people experiencing homelessness to those working to achieve or maintain home ownership — and you’re invited to share your voice. The event will take place from 6 – 8 p.m at the North High School (2660 Speer Blvd., 80211) and childcare will be provided along with Spanish translation and light refreshments. 7/22-7/29 – National Housing Week of Action – For this year’s Our Homes, Our Voices Week of Action, consider adopting one or more of the actions listed here.

9/19 – Project Homeless Connect – In support of low-income families and those experiencing homelessness, various organizations will be providing services and guidance at this year’s Project Homeless Connect. The event will be held from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m in the Colorado Convention Center. Every year, hundred of volunteers are needed to make this event a success, so if you are interested in being a volunteer and making a difference, please check back here soon for more information.
